ABOUT ME
Many years ago I started a post card ministry entitled, Balancing Everyday Life (B.E.L.). Subscribers would receive an inspirational postcard once a week to encourage them and help them get through the week. Well, as postage rates increased B.E.L mailings were reduced to twice a month, once a month, and eventually it died out. Here it is 2016, our world and economy seem to spinning in the wrong direction. No matter where you live you find yourself surrounded by communities being torn apart, lack of spiritual foundations/interest, unjustifiable killings, inflated housing market, rapid foreclosures, financial struggles, elderly abuse, child abduction and many other countless acts of disrespect, devastation, and civil demise. In June 2016, with the intent to change the dynamics I began sending random text messages to a select group of people. As the months went on and interest was renewed the list expanded as did the inspirational messages.
Today (October 3, 2016) I am pleased to welcome you to Jaaz Nspiration (JN) Affirmation. The goal of this Ministry is to consistently reach out to others via the advancements of technology to share and exchange messages of hope and reminders of love. To fulfill the purpose of the Ministry it may require people to go out of their way or to extend themselves beyond their personal comfort zone. The ability to bring out the best in a person is always worth the effort, time, and energy. Imagine the impact it could have if we all expressed love to one another in the morning, afternoon, or evening; as a whole we would have the power of the Lord to change our situations and strengthen others.
As a certified Adult Educator I have the opportunity to teach, guide, and transition learners toward success, improved performance, new career paths, renewed perspectives, and improved relationships. I have found that before one can influence others, change perception or shift thinking an open line of communication must exist. Taking the time to listen, share of ourselves, and extend empathy in my opinion are the most effective methods to establishing a solid free flowing line of communication. A renewed mindset will trigger people to work on communication skills, have a positive impact on their surroundings, re-evaluate thinking, improve overall productivity and hopefully increase their faith within the Lord or Savior.
If all of us would see ourselves as Lifelong learners, introducing new or different perspectives would have a dramatic impact on our society, family structure, and self-esteem. As a whole people would be more open to respectful approaches toward conflict resolution and building strong foundations within their individual communities. I firmly believe that offering creative and inspiring words of encouragement has the potential to effectively bring change to a dying world. The right message at the right time can repair/ build peer relationships, bring awareness, change minds, establish a loving/peaceful environment, strengthen love, resolve conflict, improve emotional situations, and inspire others to press through difficult times.
